Kamana jain & Preetiswaran in recurve , Maduravarshini and Sreeram in compound and Ameera Shafi & Santhosh sanjay in indian round top the scores in the selection trials held yesterday to select the state team to represent Tamilnadu state at the 43rd senior nationals to be held in Ayodhya , Uttarpradesh from 24 th November to 30 th November 2023 .
The selection trials for selecting the state archery team to represent Tamilnadu in the senior nationals was held at Sairam engineering college grounds yesterday by The archery association of Tamilnadu – TAAT .
A technical team headed by Competition director Mr Syed Nadeem ( national judge ) , Ms Mahima Prajapati ( national judge ) and Ms mohana priya ( director of shooting ) along with 8 other state judges conducted the trials . 72 archers who have scored the Minimum qualification score determined by TAAT participated in the trials . A full contingent of 24 archers who were selected will undergo a training camp by TAAT before leaving for Ayodhya . The manager for the team will be Mr Venkat and the coaches will be Shihan hussaini ( recurve ) & Leelakrishnan ( Compound ) .
Shihan hussaini who spoke to the archers , coaches , officials and parents from all over Tamilnadu who attended the trials said that TAAT is known for its punctuality , professionalism and impartiality and thanked the technical team for the successful conduct of the trials .
He assured all that in another 4 years , Tamilnadu will be the leading state in india to produce top archers of the world .
If india ever wins an olympic medal , the archer will be from Tamilnadu . He called Ms Rituvarshini from coimbatore who created a world record in archery at the youth world championships in Poland and as well as Sriram who won the silver medal in the junior compound nationals and their coaches and congratulated them .
He also introduced the Tamilnadu women’s recurve team who won the team silver in the last senior nationals and congratulate them and their coaches .
He wished all the archers who have been selected for the nationals all the best and wished them to win medals for the state in the senior nationals in Ayodhya Uttarpradesh .

உத்தரப்பிரதேசம் நவம்பர் 24 முதல் 30 நவம்பர் 2023 வரை. அயோத்தியில் நடைபெறும் 43வது சீனியர் நேஷனல்ஸ் போட்டியில் தமிழகத்தை பிரதிநிதித்துவப்படுத்தும் மாநில அணியை தேர்வு செய்வதற்காக நேற்று நடந்த தேர்வில் ரிகர்வ் பிரிவில் காமனா ஜெயின் & பிரீத்தீஸ்வரன், காம்பௌண்ட் பிரிவில் மதுரவர்ஷினி மற்றும் ஸ்ரீராம், இந்திய வில் சுற்றில் அமீரா ஷாபி & சந்தோஷ் சஞ்சய் ஆகியோர் முதலிடம் பிடித்தனர்.
தமிழ்நாடு வில்வித்தை சங்கத்தின் TAAT சார்பில், சீனியர் தேசிய அளவிலான வில்வித்தை போட்டியில் தமிழகம் சார்பில் பங்கேற்கும் மாநில வில்வித்தை அணியை தேர்வு செய்வதற்கான தேர்வு நேற்று சாய்ராம் பொறியியல் கல்லூரி மைதானத்தில் நடைபெற்றது.
போட்டி இயக்குநர் திரு சையத் நதீம் (தேசிய நடுவர் ), செல்வி மஹிமா பிரஜாபதி (தேசிய நடுவர் ) மற்றும் திருமதி மோகனா பிரியா (வில்வித்தை இயக்குநர்) ஆகியோர் தலைமையிலான தொழில்நுட்பக் குழு மற்றும் 8 மாநில நடுவர்கள் போட்டிகளை நடத்தினர். TAAT நிர்ணயித்த குறைந்தபட்ச தகுதி மதிப்பெண்ணைப் பெற்ற 72 வில்லாளர்கள் சோதனையில் பங்கேற்றனர். தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட 24 வில்லாளர்கள் கொண்ட முழுக் குழுவும் அயோத்திக்குப் புறப்படுவதற்கு முன் TAAT ஆல் பயிற்சி முகாமில் ஈடுபடுவார்கள். அணியின் மேலாளராக திரு வெங்கட் மற்றும் பயிற்சியாளர்களாக ஷிஹான் ஹுசைனி (ரிகர்வ்) மற்றும் லீலாகிருஷ்ணன் (காம்பௌண்ட் ) ஆகியோர் இருப்பார்கள்.
ட்ரையல்களில் கலந்து கொண்ட தமிழகம் முழுவதிலும் இருந்து வில்வித்தை வீரர்கள், பயிற்சியாளர்கள், அதிகாரிகள் மற்றும் பெற்றோர்களிடம் பேசிய ஷிஹான் ஹுசைனி, TAAT அதன் நேரம் தவறாமை, தொழில்முறை மற்றும் பக்கச்சார்பற்ற தன்மைக்கு பெயர் பெற்றது என்றும், தேர்வுகளை வெற்றிகரமாக நடத்திய தொழில்நுட்பக் குழுவிற்கு நன்றி தெரிவித்தார்.
இன்னும் 4 ஆண்டுகளில் உலகின் தலைசிறந்த வில்வீரர்களை உருவாக்கும் இந்தியாவின் முன்னணி மாநிலமாக தமிழகம் திகழும் என்று அவர் உறுதியளித்தார்.
இந்தியா எப்போதாவது ஒலிம்பிக்கில் பதக்கம் வென்றால், வில்வீரர் தமிழகத்தைச் சேர்ந்தவராக இருப்பார் . போலந்தில் நடந்த இளையோர் உலக சாம்பியன்ஷிப் போட்டியில் வில்வித்தையில் உலக சாதனை படைத்த கோயம்புத்தூரைச் சேர்ந்த ரிதுவர்ஷினி மற்றும் ஜூனியர் காம்பௌண்ட் தேசிய போட்டியில் வெள்ளிப் பதக்கம் வென்ற ஸ்ரீராம் மற்றும் அவர்களது பயிற்சியாளர்களை அழைத்து வாழ்த்து தெரிவித்தார்.
கடந்த சீனியர் நேஷனல்ஸ் போட்டியில் வெள்ளி வென்ற தமிழ்நாடு மகளிர் ரிகர்வ் அணியையும் அறிமுகப்படுத்தி அவர்களுக்கும் அவர்களின் பயிற்சியாளர்களுக்கும் வாழ்த்து தெரிவித்தார்.
அயோத்தி உத்தரப்பிரதேசத்தில் நடைபெற இருக்கும் தேசியப் போட்டிகளில் மாநிலத்துக்கு பதக்கம் வெல்வதற்காக தேசியப் போட்டிக்குத் தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்ட அனைத்து வில்வித்தை வீரர்களுக்கும் அவர் வாழ்த்து தெரிவித்தார் .
